Belt Size Guide: How to Find Your Fit

Ad Astra Marshal baby blue quilted belt with AA buckle worn with dark denim

Every Ad Astra belt fits waist sizes 30 to 36, with multiple holes so you can adjust. Most people land in that range. If you are not sure, here are two quick ways to check.

Method 1: use a belt you already own

This is the most accurate way.

  1. Lay a belt that fits you well flat on a table.
  2. Measure from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most.
  3. That number in inches is your belt fit. If it is between 30 and 36, our belts will fit.

Method 2: use your jeans

No belt to measure? Check the waist size on the jeans you plan to wear the belt with. If they are a 30 to 36, you are covered.

Jeans that sit low on the hips need a little more length than the tag says, so if you are a 36 and wear your jeans low, measure a belt instead to be safe.

Wide belts vs skinny belts

Width does not change the size, but it does change what it fits through. Wider belts like the Union and Emblem are made for denim belt loops. The Noir is skinny enough for the narrower loops on trousers.
